Business Climate & Invoice Finance Market Research Survey Results 2010
We have just completed our 2010 market research survey of 100 SMEs (Small and Medium Sized Businesses) regarding their thoughts about the UK economic business climate and their attitudes towards invoice finance and finance brokers.
We are in the process of publishing the results and we will update this page as the results are published.
- 100% of SMEs think that the availability of business finance has declined over the last year.
- 80 hours a month is the average time SMEs say they spend chasing unpaid sales invoices*
- 66% of SMEs think that the time taken by customers to pay outstanding sales invoices has increased over the last year.
- 73% of SMEs expect economic conditions in the UK to improve over the course of 2010
- 17% expect conditions to stay the same.
- 10% expect economic conditions in the UK to decline over 2010.
